Load-Bearing Direction: The steel bearing bars (flat bars) of the grating must run in the direction of the span, carrying the load across the trench. The length (L) of these bars is determined by the trench width, including necessary clearance gaps.
Standard Panel Layout: For the length of the trench, we utilise our standard, production-optimised panel width of 995mm. Panels are laid side-by-side with a standard 5mm gap between them for installation.
Custom Cut-to-Size Sections: The remaining section of the trench length (if under 1 metre) will be custom-manufactured to the exact required dimension to complete the installation seamlessly.
