Material Specifications & Construction-Anping Fengqian Wire Mesh Products Co., Ltd.

Our grating covers are engineered for strength and durability. The core components—bearing bars and cross bars—are available in various materials and profiles to match your specific load and environmental requirements.

Bearing Bars (Flat Bars)

The primary load-bearing element of the grating.

  • Material:
  • Carbon Steel: Standard grade S235JR (Mild Steel, equivalent to Q235A).
  • Stainless Steel: Grade 304 or 316 for superior corrosion resistance.
  • Profile Types:
  • Plain Flat: Standard surface.
  • Serrated: Provides enhanced anti-slip safety, ideal for pedestrian areas.
  • I-Bar: Offers increased structural strength and load capacity.
  • Common Bar Dimensions (Thickness x Width):
  • A wide range is available due to our direct factory supply, including but not limited to:
  • 20×5, 25×5, 25×3, 32×5, 40×5, 40×3, 50×5, 65×5, 75×6, 100×8, 100×10 mm.

Cross Bars (Twist Bars / Connecting Rods)

The components welded perpendicular to the bearing bars to lock them in place.

  • Material:
  • Carbon Steel: Standard grade S235JR (Mild Steel).
  • Stainless Steel: Grade 304.
  • Profile Types:
  • Round Bar
